Jean’s Fit In The City Fitness and Precision Nutrition (PN) Programs are designed to help you live a healthier happier life bringing nutrition and fitness together as a whole to help individuals make a positive lifestyle change.

Fit In The City’s PN Coaching will provide you with life-changing, personal nutrition and lifestyle coaching for every individual. Helping people change their mindsets, behaviours and lives. We will look for what we call ‘Deep Health’ a multi-faceted, whole-person, whole-life experience of thriving in all areas: physical, mental, and emotional.

 

Helping people feel and function well in all aspects of their lives. Fit In The City Group Fitness Program will help to strengthen and shape your whole body. It will help build your muscular strength and your cardiovascular health. This program focuses on core strength, flexibility and agility while toning and shredding those unwanted pounds.

 

Research has shown that the benefits of exercising are many and improves our overall mental health. Exercise affects the parts of the brain that are responsible for attention and concentration helping the brain to work better and improve concentration. It decreases stress levels and in turn exercise has a positive effect on productivity.

 

About 11% of men and 16% of women in Canada will experience major depression in the course of their lives. Exercise increases the same hormones (dopamine and serotonin) in our brain that anti-depressant medications are designed to increase. It can improve anxiety by teaching your body a different outcome and helps the rerouting of our brain circuits improving resilience. Exercise can also help with cognitivedecline by recruiting the development of new brain cells.

Fitness Program

The Fit in the City Fitness Program was crafted by our team of expert instructors to focus on a number of key areas to improve general fitness, promote continued steady improvements to your peak fitness and help you easily maintain a regular exercise regime that will positively impact all areas of life.

The Fitness Program Focuses on:

  • Greatly improving endurance and aerobic fitness.

  • Develop your strength with resistance training exercises.

  • Improving flexibility and balance via focused training that allows you to stay limber and agile.

  • Incorporating TRX and Suspension training to further improve core strength endurance and flexibility.

  • The Flexi-Bar can also be incorporated into the training plan and will introduce vibration training techniques as an additional method of focusing on improving Strength, Endurance, Flexibility and Co-ordination.

Precision Nutritional Coaching

Menopause Coach

As a Menopause coach, Fit in the City takes a holistic approach to well-being. 
Did you know that menopause can last up to 40 years! You can hit perimenopause as early as age 38 have symptoms for up to 20 years then hit “menopause” and go into post-menopause which can last another 20 years! 
3% of Muscle Mass will automatically decrease yearly, at age 44,  0.4% of bone density is decreased and from ages 50-54, 4.4% of bone density decreases. 
The good news is that Fit in the City wants to provide you with all the tools needed to help you get through this stage in your life. FITC will help you reverse these age related conditions.
We will address not only your physical health but also mental and emotional health. 
FITC will help clients create a balanced and fulfilling life during this transition stage of life.
